Stoll Group Alumnus Ian Gibbs-Hall takes job with Activated Research Company

Gustavus alumnus Ian Gibbs-Hall (’13) has finished a Master of Science degree in chemistry at Northwestern University, and will begin work with Activated Research Company┬áin Eden Prairie, MN later this month. During his time at Gustavus, Ian worked in the Stoll research laboratory for parts of all four years. He was selected twice for summer research opportunities at Gustavus through the early research experience program supported by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute grant that Gustavus held at that time. This work eventually led to several poster presentations of his research, and Ian was a co-author of a paper describing the characterization of fullerene-modified silicas for use as stationary phases in liquid chromatography, which was published in the journal Analytical Chemistry. Congratulations Ian!
